List of Popular SMK Helmet Models to Choose

SMK Typhoon series

SMK Typhoon is a range of full face helmets from SMK.

The SMK Typhoon comes with an aerodynamic shell that reduces wind resistance and ensures stability at higher speeds. It features a well-designed ventilation system to keep riders cool during long rides. Available in multiple colors, including a popular gloss black finish, the Typhoon is priced in the range of ₹4,000 to ₹5,000, making it a solid choice for everyday riders who want both style and safety.

Out of all the helmets in the SMK Typhoon series, my favorite is the SMK Typhoon Sports Tourer with Dual Visor in Matte Black. It looks stylish, feels premium, and most importantly, offers great comfort. The soft inner padding provides a secure fit, making it ideal for long rides without strain. The helmet also ensures clear vision in all weather conditions with its Pinlock 30 anti-fog shield, which prevents misting. Maintenance is easy too, thanks to removable and washable liners that keep it fresh. Plus, the well-placed front and top vents allow smooth airflow, keeping you cool and sweat-free on every ride.

SMK Retro Helmets

The SMK Retro series is designed for riders who love the charm of open-face helmets with a vintage look. Among its variants, the Retro Ranko stands out for its unique graphics and stylish appeal. These helmets come with comfortable padding and a wide visor that enhances visibility on the road. Priced between ₹3,000 and ₹4,000, the Retro range blends classic design with modern safety and comfort.

If you’re into retro-style helmets, the SMK Renko GL 574 is worth checking out. It does a good job of mixing old-school looks with modern safety.

The shell is built with advanced impact-absorbing materials, so you don’t feel like you’re compromising protection for style. What I liked the most was the real leather cushion inside—it feels premium and actually cradles your face comfortably, which is rare in retro helmets where padding can sometimes be stiff or minimal.

The Pinlock®70-ready visor is another plus. It keeps the fogging in check, especially on early morning rides, though I’d say it’s not as wide as what you’d get in a full-face touring helmet. One cool thing about the Renko is the customization. You get a small tool in the box to swap visors and side plates. If you’re the kind of rider who likes to tweak the look, you can even remove the visor completely and ride with goggles, or change the side plates for a fresh color combo. It’s small details like this that make the Renko stand out from other retro helmets in this price range.

SMK Offroad Helmets

If you’re looking at off-road style helmets, the SMK Allterra series is definitely the one to consider. I couldn’t find it on Amazon, but you can grab it directly from their official website. The Allterra X-Throttle is SMK’s MX range, and it’s been designed with input from some of the best motocross experts—which shows in the details.

The helmet uses dual outer injected EIRT shells, which gives a good balance of safety and fit. The peak is both removable and adjustable, which is handy depending on whether you’re riding trails or hitting an open dirt track. Inside, you get a washable, hypoallergenic liner with anti-moisture and antistatic properties—practical stuff for long, sweaty rides.

What I liked most is the channeled ventilation system. With multiple vents and exhausts, airflow feels steady even when the ride gets intense. The extra-wide eye port is another thoughtful touch—it holds MX goggles firmly in place and gives you a clear, wide view of the trail. To top it off, SMK offers the Allterra in both bold graphics and solid colors, so you can match it to your riding style.

Smk Stellar Sports S01 Faro Helmet

The SMK Stellar Faro is a full-face helmet that blends safety with sharp styling. It’s made with the latest generation materials, giving it a lightweight feel without compromising protection. The design has bold contours and an aggressive profile, which makes it stand out on the road. More importantly, the fit feels secure and comfortable, even if you’re wearing it for hours.

One of its strongest features is the extra-wide visor, which gives you a clear, expansive view of the road ahead. The visor is replaceable and comes Pinlock®70-ready, so fogging won’t be an issue on chilly mornings or rainy days. SMK has also included a breath deflector that channels warm air away from the visor for better clarity.

Ventilation is well thought out. With dynamic air vents on the chin guard and top, plus exhausts at the back, airflow stays consistent and cooling, even during long rides in hot weather. Add in dual-shell technology for extra protection and a wind stop feature, and you get a helmet that feels both premium and practical.

SMK Titan Carbon Fiber

The SMK Titan is a premium full-face helmet designed with advanced aerodynamics for stability at higher speeds. Its carbon fiber version offers a lighter yet stronger shell, making it a great option for riders who spend long hours on the road. Inside, the helmet comes with a high-end comfort liner that provides a snug fit, while the wide visor ensures excellent visibility in different riding conditions. Priced between ₹7,000 and ₹12,000, the Titan series sits at the higher end of SMK’s lineup, aimed at riders who want top-tier safety and comfort.

The SMK Titan Carbon Solid is a premium full-face helmet built with Carbon Composite Fiber Technology (PCFT), offering a balance of extreme safety and luxury that appeals to touring enthusiasts. Its aggressive, aerodynamic design not only looks striking but also enhances stability at high speeds. Weighing just 1450 grams, the carbon fiber shell with its glossy black checkerboard finish feels light yet strong, reducing neck strain on long rides. The helmet comes with a dual visor system—a clear outer visor fitted with Pinlock®70 anti-fog protection and an easy-to-use inner sun visor for riding in varying light conditions. Ventilation is well-handled with eight strategically placed vents that keep airflow consistent, making it comfortable in all weather. Inside, super-soft liners, a wind stop, and a double D-ring closure system ensure both comfort and a secure fit, whether on long tours or short daily commutes.

SMK helmets strike a balance between safety, comfort, and style, making them a solid choice for beginners, daily commuters, and touring enthusiasts alike. Whether you want a budget-friendly Twister, a versatile Gullwing, or the premium Titan Carbon, there’s an SMK helmet built for your kind of ride.
